NetZoom Device Property Manager
The information required to manage valuable
business IT assets varies from one organization to the next. By the same token,
network diagramming projects also have their own requirements. Before, there was
no easy way to designate personalized stencil sets or apply special properties
for a given project.
NetZoom 6 accounts for these different needs through its
Property Manager. You can choose from NetZoom’s vast library of shapes, create
custom stencils, set custom requirements, and apply special shape properties
for each project easier than ever before.
Choose Shape Properties for Each Project.
If you work on multiple network design projects,
NetZoom 6’s Device Property Manager is your new best friend. You can create
multiple projects to which you can apply different shape properties. You can use
the properties that already come with NetZoom’s shapes, or use ones from your
own database. Click on the checkboxes you want and you’re ready to go.
Add Your Databases to Apply Custom Properties.
Once you have created your different property
sets, NetZoom easily imports your database of information. Whether you are a
private consultant, a network administrator, or a third-party developer,
applying custom properties to NetZoom shapes is another powerful way to tailor
NetZoom to your documentation needs.
